Welcome to Quipt. By accessing or purchasing from our site, you agree to the terms below. Please read them carefully before placing an order.

 

1. General

getquipt.com.au is owned and operated by Quipt Pty Ltd These terms apply to all visitors and customers of our site. By using this site, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms.

 

2. Products & Pricing

All products and prices listed on our site are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue products at any time. All pricing is in AUD and GST is included at checkout. 

 

3. Orders

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders at our discretion, including due to pricing errors, stock unavailability, or suspected fraud.

4. Shipping & Delivery

Shipping times are estimates only. We are not liable for delays once an order has been handed to the carrier. See our Shipping Policy for full details.

5. Returns & Refunds

We accept returns within 30 days on eligible products in original, unopened condition. See our Returns & Refund Policy for how to request a return.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this site (logos, images, text, video, etc.) is the property of Quipt or its licensors. You may not copy, use, or reproduce it without permission.

 

7. Liability

Quipt is not responsible for any injury, damage, or loss resulting from the use of our products. Products must be used as intended and according to safety guidelines. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the purchase price of the product.

 

8. Third-Party Services

We use third-party platforms (e.g. Shopify, Meta, payment gateways) to run our website, ads, and process orders. Your information may be shared with these providers in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

 

9. Meta Advertising & Tracking

We may use Meta tools (e.g. Pixel) to personalise ads and track performance. Data is used in line with Meta’s Business Tools Terms. You can manage ad preferences via your Meta account settings.

 

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes arising will be handled in local courts.

Product & Usage

The Site Light is a heavy-duty LED strip light designed for indoor construction and job sites. It plugs directly into AC240V, comes on a drum for easy transport, and delivers bright, consistent lighting across your workspace.

15m, 25m, and 50m variants — all double-sided for maximum light output.

Yes. It’s IP65-rated (dust and water resistant), IK10 impact rated, and built for tough site conditions. It meets Australian electrical safety standards.

The Site Light must be mounted according to our installation guidelines — hang it over roof trusses, timber framing, hooks or other solid non-electrical structures. Never mount on electrical conduit or power equipment.

Yes, using our approved connectors (sold separately), you can link multiple lights — up to a total run of 100 linear metres.

Always wind the light back on the drum and store it in a dry location. Avoid sharp bends and don’t leave the strip under tension.

Yes — the Site Light plugs into standard GPO outlets or site-approved 240V distribution boards.

Yes — the Site Light is engineered for direct AC240V use and includes a compliant AS/NZS 3112 plug. All units are tested and certified to meet Australian electrical safety standards.

No. The Site Light comes plug-and-play, so licensed builders and trades can set it up without an electrician — as long as it’s not hardwired or altered.

Yes. The Site Light meets AS/NZS 3820 (essential safety) and complies with AS/NZS 3012:2019 when installed correctly on temporary construction sites using its compliant plug.

Yes. The plug is certified to AS/NZS 3112 and carries SAA and RCM approval. You can request our compliance documentation at any time.

Traditional floodlights can be bulky, fragile, or leave blind spots. The Site Light gives you even, flexible light across a whole site, packs down fast, and is built tough for actual site conditions — not just garages or workshops.

Shipping, Returns & Warranty

Yes, we ship all over Australia. Delivery typically takes 2–7 business days depending on location.

We accept returns within 30 days for unused, unopened products. Contact us to arrange a return or exchange support@getquipt.com.au and be sure to include your order receipt.

Yes. All Site Lights come with a 3 year warranty against manufacturing faults. The guarantee condition is any performance failure occurs within warranty period caused by non-human damage. There is no charge for replacing or repairing defective products. 

If the quality problems of the returned products are caused by our company, we will replace or repair the defective products; if customers could not accept the solution for replacing or repairing the defective products, the payment of defective products will be refund to buyer's bank account.

Quipt will not reimburse or pay for unexpected costs or expenses, including without limitation labor or other costs associated with removal or reinstallation of the product, even if it is ultimately deemed to be defective.

Exceptions:
1) Product had been modified by the user.
2) Product was not installed or maintained according to manual or specification accompanied.
3) Product was subject to unusual physical or electrical stress, misuse, or negligence.
4) Product was non-defective or product defect was not related to SEMC Works product functionality, including third- party modifications.
5) Other damages caused after receipt of product by customer.

Any return without authorization of Quipt will not be accepted.
